Summer is off to a slow start this year with the jet stream sitting to the south of us and keeping the warm air away.  We have had more than our share of rain but it has been good for the farmers and gardeners and all is green and beautiful. We are about to shift into high gear.

The town of Stowe is ramping up for its July 4th celebrations with parades, cook-outs, mini-marathons and the like, culminating in an impressive firework display in the evening.  The summer season will continue with concerts, art shows, dog events, bike and running races, antique and craft shows and the ever popular antique car rally.

If the quieter side is your preference, take hikes in the mountains or just find a shady spot by the river to fish or read. There is no shortage of places to dine or taste a glass of wine from the glamorous Stowe Mountain Resort to the Inn at Little River to the new Mexican restaurant, Fritas. Go to the
Stowe Reporter or to the Stowe Area Association website for local news and events

Stop by my office on Main Street if it is real estate that interests you. We have properties in all price ranges and some great deals to be had.  See you there.
